Warranty & Shipping Policy

Warranty

Stone Hill Manufacturing warrants its products against defects in workmanship and material for five years from the shipping date. Stone Hill does not warrant against colour change or fading. This warranty is limited to repair and replacement only.

Shipping Policy

If your seat covers are not in stock, it may take up to 2 – 3 weeks from the date of order for your covers to be ready for dispatch. Once your seat covers are ready, we use The Courier Guy to ensure you get your order as quickly and securely as possible. Shipment is free of charge countrywide. We may request photos of seats to help us select the proper pattern. Delays in obtaining photos or needed information will delay shipping and delivery.

  • Next, remove covers from seats and wash on a gentle cycle in the washing machine with NO detergent in cold water
  • Lie flat to dry out of direct sunlight.
  • Ensure the seat covers are fully dry before placing them on vehicle seats.

For Spot Treatment:

  • Wipe the affected area with a cold, damp cloth.

DO NOT:

  • Dry clean

Installation & Fitment

Installation

The installation of Stone Hill seat covers takes time, effort and a little bit of patience to install and varies from model to model. Most of the covers can be installed without the removal of the seats or disconnecting any wiring. Certain models require the removal of the rear seats for fitting. Vacuum your original seats and remove anything from the seat pockets before installing your new seat covers
We strongly recommend sorting your package into separate seat parts to avoid mixing up the driver, passenger and rear seat parts. Each cover is easily identified by a label on the inside seam.

Check that you have received the following parts before starting the installation.

You Should Have

  • Seat base (Front and Rear)
  • Backrest (Front and Rear)
  • Headrest (Front, Rear and Middle)
  • Armrest (If applicable)
  • Center Console Cover

Covers are creased initially, but this is normal and will stretch out in a couple of days once fitted. Remember that the initial fit seems very tight (similar to newly washed denim jeans). This is because the customized covers fit like a glove, even when allowing for a bit of stretch in the material. When fastening the seat covers, do not yank forcefully – rather use firm and controlled pulling movements.

Fitment Details

Fitment details

  1. Pull the cover over the seat and using your fingers, feed the back of the seat cover between the seat and the backrest, making sure it is clear from any levers and buttons. Make sure that the seams of the cover line up with the seams of the seat.
  2. Guide the webbing between the backrest and the seat until you can see it pop out at the back and/or side of the seat. In some models you may need to detach the carpet (skirting) on the back of your seat to allow access.
  3. Move the seat forward as far as possible to allow easy access behind the seat.
Guide the webbing through the aligning ladder locks and with controlled force pull tight to fasten to the opposite side until overall fit is snug without puckering.
  4. Adjust the seat cover into shape if necessary and tuck webbing straps away to finish off.
Move the seat back to its original position.
  5. Test movement of the seat to ensure nothing is obstructed in the tracks or electronic buttons and/or levers.
  6. The seat base fitting is now complete.

Check that you have received the following parts before starting the installation.

  1. Remove headrest and set aside.
  2. Pull seat cover evenly over the backrest ensuring the seams of the seat cover and upholstery are aligned. Make sure the cover does not get caught in the pocket of the seat on the back.
  3. Work eyelets around and under the base of the head rest openings.
  4. Push the center panel through the base of the seat, just like you did with the seat part.
  5. Flip the backrest forward, pull firmly and connect the male hook and loop to the female hook and loop.
  6. Flip the back rest up to the original position.
  7. The seat backrest fitting is now complete.
  1. Place the headrest in an upright position on a firm surface (assistance is recommended to hold in place).
  2. Before pulling the cover over the head rest, ensure that the seams align. It is difficult to align once the cover is on, as it is a tight fit.
  3. Fasten hook & loop tightly underneath head rest.
  4.  Replace the headrest onto the seat and adjust the height to your liking.
  5. Headrest fitting is now complete.

Repeat this process for the passenger seat and rear seats.

  1. Open the armrest completely.
  2. Once again it is important that the seams of the cover and the upholstery align before covering.
  3. Cover the armrest with the longest panel underneath.
  4. Feed the panel between the armrest and the back rest until visible from above and pull tight. (The gap is very narrow which makes this feed slightly more difficult).
  5. Straighten out the material and fasten hook & loop.
  6. If you have cup holders on the armrest, cutouts will be positioned in the right place.

Once you have had your covers for a couple of weeks, we advise that you re-adjust the webbings as the covers will mold to the shape of your seat over time. This will leave you with the best fit possible.
